The show, in this season's first two episodes anyway, appears to be headed towards its finale with a purpose in mind; one that may or may not tie loose ends together, ending in mass murder or suicide

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - FX has announced its midseason schedule, which includes return dates for dramas "Nip/Tuck" and "Damages," a series premiere for new animated comedy "Archer," and premiere plans for new drama "Justified" (formerly titled "Lawman") and new comedy "Louie."

The final nine episodes of FX’s "Nip/Tuck" will begin Wednesday, Jan. 6, and run through early March, the network announced, reports The Hollywood Reporter. Guest stars for the final episodes include Melanie Griffith, Joan Rivers, Mario Lopez, Frances Conroy, Donna Mills and Joan Van Ark.
