Lindsay Lohan Bodyguard Tell All Book

Lindsay Lohan’s former protector (not Batman, but her former bodyguard) has filed suit against Star Magazine. The former bodyguard to the actress / singer claims the celebrity magazine damaged his career as bodyguard to Hollywood’s elite with an article they ran. Monday, Andrae “Doc” Renard Newman filed a libel lawsuit against Star magazine in Los Angeles. Newman claims that Star misidentified him as Lee Weaver, another former Lohan bodyguard, in a photo caption for a story “Lindsay’s Bodyguard Bares All! Her Sick Secret World”. In court papers filed Tuesday, a busboy suing Lindsay Lohan alleges he has proof that Lohan had been drinking before she collided with his van in October 2005. Raymundo Ortega is seeking $200,000 in damages. He alleges Lohan drove her Mercedes-Benz into his van, drunk, as she tried to avoid photographers. Lohan, 21, has previously countersued the busboy, asserting that CHP had found Ortega caused the crash with an illegal U-turn. LOS ANGELES — One of Lindsay Lohan's former bodyguards says a celebrity magazine damaged his career as a protector of Hollywood's rich and famous by publishing a photo of him along with a tell-all article. Andrae "Doc" Renard Newman filed a libel lawsuit against Star magazine Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court, alleging he was misidentified as Lee Weaver, another of the 21-year-old actress' former bodyguards, in a photo caption accompanying the article.
