Lindsay Lohan Jail Sentence: 90 Days

Lindsay Lohan (Pacific Coast News)Uh-oh: Things just got very real for Lindsay Lohan. The actress appeared in court today for a hearing related to probation on her earlier DUI case, and she was sentenced to 90 days behind bars. According to the Associated Press, Judge Marsha Revel found that Lindsay had violated her probation by not attending her mandatory alcohol education classes. Lohan cried after the sentence was handed down.
Lindsay missed seven classes since December, though she provided excuses and claimed she was taking the hearing seriously. But the judge wasn't buying it: She said she found Lohan's apology insincere.
Prosecutors had sought only a 30-day sentence for Lohan. Even though she got 90, it's not clear yet how long she'll actually be there, as many women in her situation only spend about a fourth of the actual sentence in jail. She'll be serving time at the Lynwood jail, the same place she served in 2007.
