Lohan posing at Kitson.
After her disastrous collaboration for Emanuel Ungaro's Spring 2010 collection, you'd think
Lindsay Lohan would be wary of future design projects. Nope!
The actress says she's planning a jewelry collection for retailer bebe with jeweler Pascal Mouawad. At a Kitson event over the weekend, she told
Access Hollywood, "We're doing a collection for [bebe] and we're also going to be doing some other things."
Mouawad is the same person who helped
Nicole Richie to launch her successful House of Harlow 1960 line. Strangely, the prospect of Lohan helping to design affordable mall-store jewelry makes a lot more sense than trying her hand at Paris ready-to-wear.
UPDATE: Mouawad told
Women's Wear Daily that the jewelry line is "not happening."
