Retailers Refusing Emanuel Ungaro's Spring Collection

Style.com (via The Cut) reports that neither Neiman Marcus nor Net-A-Porter will carry the Emanuel Ungaro Spring 2010 collection, the first collaboration between head designer Estrella Archs and "artistic advisor" Lindsay Lohan. It isn't a huge surprise, either: the collection received miserable reviews from nearly everyone who covered it. This means that the collection can only be purchased in Ungaro boutiques and a few, select retailers nationwide.

One has to wonder if CEO Mounir Moufarrige regrets his decision to hire Lindsay, who has generated nothing but negative press for the flagging brand. Earlier this week, the label's founder and namesake admitted that the Spring 2010 collection made him "furious," but that he no longer had control over anything involving the company.
