Lindsay Lohan got good marks in court today, even though she wasn't there to hear it. Instead, Lindsay's lawyer, the effervescent Shawn Chapman Holley , presented the judge with the goods to show her client was complying with the terms of her DUI probation. The judge was impressed, but drew a line in the sand, telling S.C.H. Lindsay must complete her alcohol ed class by July 15, 2010. We're sure she'll graduate magnum cum laude.

Police on New York's Long Island say Lindsay Lohan's father has been arrested and charged with criminal contempt, for allegedly violating an order of protection. Suffolk County police say Michael Lohan was arrested Monday on the misdemeanor charge. Police had no further comment on Tuesday. His attorney did not immediately return a call for comment. News was making the rounds yesterday that Michael Lohan was arrested in Medford, New York over the weekend for violating a restraining order by calling his ex-girlfriend Erin Muller on the phone. The report however (at least according to Michael himself) is false. He told reporters that he wasn’t arrested, he was simply processed and released.
