Tips on how to keep the linen closet fresh:
- Place a box of baking soda, bar soap or a lavender sachet on the shelf (but keep in mind that the sachet loses its scent over time)
- Leave a fabric softener sheet between linens to keep them smelling nice
- Store wool items in vacuum-sealed bags to prevent damage from moths and insects
- Sand cedar surfaces often to release more scent
- Make sure items are clean when you put them away
