5:20 p.m.: Building 7 of the World Trade Center complex collapses.
6:40 p.m.: Rumsfeld, the U.S. Secretary of Defense annouces that the Pentagon is operational.
8:30 p.m.: President Bush gives a national adress; "These acts shattered steel, but they cannot dent the steel of American resolve."
Today I phoned the home of Philip Ryken the President of Wheaton College in Wheaton Illinois. I spoke with his wife as she mentioned that Philip is out of the country.
