Local Literacy Group Getting Started

I'm in the process of trying to start a local literacy group in Cass County, Michigan, and from time to time, I'll update you on our current progress and excitement-I just love to share!  I'm sure I'll also get discouraged at times too, and will need a place to vent. 

Right now, I'm on the excited side.  We just got some major local publicity, and I've received three calls so far from potential tutors who want to help with the project, as well as a request to speak in front of a local group.  We've currently got four tutor-student pairs actively working together, and it looks like we're on a roll. 

It's a huge job, and right now it feels overwhelming.  Wish us luck!
