Jase Patrizio , one of my best friends and an Eagles fanatic, was kind enough to preview the Eagles for me. Health is such a commodity in the NFL today. If your playmakers can’t avoid injury it obviously changes the shape of your team’s season. Last year for the Philadephia Eagles there were injuries to many key players. Brian Dawkins (11 games), Lito Sheppard (10 games), L.J. Smith (10 games) and the oft-injured Donovan McNabb missed 3 games due to an ankle injury in Miami. However this is all part of the game unfortunately. It can get pretty stressful when coupled with the difficult ... Read Full Story

Opening Drive Cause For Concern?: The Steelers took the field on the opening drive, and ran the ball down the Eagles throats. Actually runs to the outside seemed to really hurt the Eagles the most. With two undersized defensive ends, I guess it makes sense to run the ball to the edges. Seeing that worried me some, and I wonder if this will be a problem all season. Not that these two have great size, but both would be ... Read Full Story

It looks like the Lito Sheppard situation just took a turn for the worst. He has dropped his old agent, and hired mega agent Drew Rosenhaus . Eagles fans will always remember Rosenhaus as the slime ball agent who did whatever it took to get TO out of Philadelphia . Players love Rosenhaus, and NFL teams have nightmares about dealing with him. He uses every trick in the book to get what he wants for his clients, even if that means holding his players out, or having them create a disturbance with their team. So what will happen with Lito now? I was convinced ... Read Full Story

Hopefully we get him in there enough times where we’ll see how he’s going to play,” Johnson said Thursday. “Right now I see him playing quite a bit. I don’t know what kind of shape he’s in. We’ve got to see. “Game shape and practice shape, when you’ve got to play 60 ... Read Full Story
