Organisers of Prince William and Prince Harry’s memorial concert for their mother could have sold more tickets but left it too late, it has emerged. Princes William and Harry wanted to celebrate their mother's life by hosting 'the best birthday party ever' The terror threat and forecast for bad weather also meant hundreds who had bought tickets did not actually turn up, contributing to the number of visibly empty seats on what was billed a sell-out event. In all 63,000 tickets for the... Read Full Story

So, a little while ago I was feeling nostalgic. Maybe it was just after the Grammy nominations were announced and I realized I didn't know a Lil' Wayne from a Ne-Yo. And I thought back to when MTV was really a music channel and the concert known around the world as Live Aid. I was in my mid-20's then (and I still am, by the way) and listening to music and following the bands of the time consumed me. I couldn't wait for Live Aid. Of course the hype leading up to it didn't hurt. I thought Bob... Read Full Story

I watched almost all of the event and can say that there were definitely some... Read Full Story

Terrorists always plan for the reaction, since they know they are limited in the direct damage they can do in even the most destructive and vile of acts. The tragic violence in Mumbai has led to the cancellation of Live Earth India , previously scheduled for December 7th, which would have supported the construction and execution of solutions to sustainable economic growth and climate change.
