Café De Paris, I wouldn't recommend it

Last night was a mates birthday and we all went out, she paid £500 for a table in The Café De Paris, in London's Piccadilly. The club itself is stunning as you can see from the photos (click images to enlarge), it's been open for some 90 years according to their website. Unfortunately last night wasn't as good a birthday party as it should've been. We arrived at 10pm all of us were on a guest list and as I said my friend had paid £500 for the table. At this point one guy was turned away for wearing trainers, fair enough, then a second was turned away for wearing Timberland boots with a 'no hoodies comment' thrown in, now his jacket had a hood but he was smartly dressed and most certainly...
