If there's one thing I know, it's that British people love hats. Big hats, small hats, hats stuck to the sides of their heads, tall hats, short hats, you get the picture. Their hat fashion is actually kind of awesome, although at times laughable. Still, it's a shame that the trend of hats at events hasn't caught on in the U.S. For British socialites, the hat wearing event of the year is definitely the Royal Ascot horse race, and it happens to be going on right now.
