A community portal about Lotus Notes with blogs, videos, and photos. According to Wikipedia.org: Lotus Notes is a client-server collaborative software and e-mail system owned by Lotus Software, of the IBM Software Group. It consists of a client software called Notes and a server, called Domino.

Free Download Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Pwr Point – Freeware App

Microsoft Office has become the standard application for office / home, but relatively high prices of the software makes some people reluctant to buy this product (especially students who do not have much money to buy this product). But actually, it was quite a lot of applications providing by third party with similar capabilities of Microsoft Office and they provide free download Microsoft Office application such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. For those of you who do not want to buy Microsoft office, here's a list of freeware software applications either replacement for Microsoft office desktop applications or web applications.

1. OpenOffice (http://www.openoffice.org/)
Open Office provides free download Microsoft Office freeware applications such as: Writer (word processor), Calc (spreadsheets), Impress (presentations), Draw (graphics) and Base (database manipulation). One unique feature offered by this freeware software is the export documents to PDF format, furthermore it also enables users to manipulate PDF files. This is an Opensource software and managed by a large community which means that if any problems occur it will solved quickly.

2. IBM Lotus Symphony (http://symphony.lotus.com/software/lotus/symphony/home.nsf/home)
IBM Lotus Symphony is built based on early versions of OpenOffice that has all the features & functionality in OpenOffice. Symphony applications has microsoft office capabilities including word processing, presentations and spreadsheets, but it can open many document formats like Open Document Format (ODF), Microsoft file formats (such as . Doc,. Ppt,. Xls,. Dot), and Lotus SmartSuite formats. IBM Lotus Symphony can be run on Windows XP, Vista and Linux.
3. OxygenOffice Professional (http://sourceforge.net/projects/ooop/)
OxygenOffice Professional (OOP) is a version of OpenOffice that is reinforced with additional capabilities. This application packages include word processor, presentation applications, spreadsheets, databases, application images, web editor, equation editor and so on. Besides having all the features of OpenOffice, OOP already have the ability to support Visual Basic for Application (VBA) macros in Calc functions, better feature of Calc HTML export, improve performance and color palette. In addition, also available clip art and photos, fonts and several templates and tools such as OooWikipedia to improve productivity. OOP is available for Windows and Linux platforms.

4. Abiword (http://www.abisource.com/download/)
Abi Word is a free office application that supports Microsoft Word documents, OpenOffice, WordPerfect, Rich Text Format, HTML and so on. Abi Word has a similar look of the classic versions of Microsoft Word with support for the Windows platform, Linux, FreeBSD, and QNX.

5. KOffice (http://www.koffice.org/)
KOffice can run on Linux / Unix, Windows, Mac OS X platform with the completeness function in a word processor, spredsheet, presentation programs, flowcharts, image manipulation, business report generation tool, formula editor, graph and charting programs.
