A brief announcement posted on cnn.com Wednesday broke the news that long-time anchor Lou Dobbs would be leaving the network effective immediately. Dobbs elaborated on his departure on his show Wednesday, his last show on CNN. His announcement kept things amicable, so it wasn't entirely satisfying for anyone following the tension at CNN headquarters.
