bouncers
My boyfriend and I have been going out alot lately, mainly too help rebuild our relationship. A few months ago we went out to this bar/club we go to for live music, I did something stupid and the bouncer made fun of me. Then the rest of the night he seemed to be around me alot, saying hi, smiling, if I went to the bar or bathroom he was nearby, back at the table, he was nearby. Weird, but didn't think to much about it.
So last week, a favorite band of my boyfriends was playing there so we went, as soon as we got there, this same bouncer comes up to me to check my id, and makes reference to 2 months before. If he hadn't had the same stocking hat type thing one, I wouldn't have known it was the same bouncer. My boyfriend says something about that, and he mutters, "Oh Shit", and has this oh shit look on his face, like I've been busted.
I can't believe he remembered me from almost two months before, he even pretended that he didn't know what my boyfriend was talking about, but unless both of us and our friends are all stupid, then he did.
Then in the club, we went upstairs, the bouncers generally leave you alone up there, unless they have reason to come up, they stay on the floor. HE kept coming up there, through 3 of the 4 binds, and during the 4th band, he stood where all he had to do was look up, and he could see us.
So what the hell is up here? I am confused.
Here is what the incident was.
I have issues with left and right, especially when driving and giving directions, so he says give me your right hand, (for the over 21 arm band), I give him the left. He laughs, hard, no less, says no, and you "flunked flank, didn't you?" By the way, what the hell does that mean? That was what happened in January.
So last week, I walk up he is walking toward me, tapping his wrist and saying right wrist, (by the way, didn't realize it until my friends pointed it out to me, he was tapping his left wrist, not his right, so he is a dumb ass too), a bunch of dialog follows with me, him and my boyfriend, involving the busting of him on remembering me.
He also only checked my id, he sent everyone else to other bouncers, and both times he checks over my id really good.
What is going on here? He is just weird? Trying to hit on me? What?
I have never dealt with bouncers before so I have no idea if this is normal for them.
