Over 30? Be Careful of High Blood Pressure

Are you over the age of 20? If so, you need to be more health conscience - especially when it comes to your risk for high blood pressure. One of the leading factors of high blood pressure, otherwise known as hypertension, is age. As the body begins to age, the arteries begin to harden and the capillaries will begin to die off due to a condition reffered to as arteriosclerosis. Age is just one of many linked to hypertension, as well as family history, gender, and race. Recent studie have shown that males and African Americans have higher chances of developing high blood pressure, and high blood pressure has also been found to be , or hereditary.
 Just because you doesn't mean you won't be able to lower your blood pressure. There are many ways to lower high blood pressure. Lifestyle chances are encouraged to help lower blood pressure levels. If you are suffer from diabetes, obesity, poor exercise, or excess caffeine intake, you need to make chances to your lifestyle. A healthy diet routine is a great beginning step in the proper direction. A diet made up of plenty of vegetable and fresh fruit is , as well as a healthy consumption of calcium, potassium, coenzyme q10, and omega-3 fatty acids. Potassium ensures proper kidney health, which helps with proper blood circulation. A calcium deficiency or coenqyme q10 deficiency are also linked to improper blood flow which can lead to high blood pressure. Omega-3 fatty acids work to maintain a good level of good cholesterol known as HDL that helps lower high blood pressure levels. There are many herbal supplements for high blood pressure, like garlic, hawthorn berry, and ginger. Garlic helps lower bad cholesterols known as LDLs. Hawthorn berry has been found to open coronary arteries, helping allow proper blood circulation through out the body. Ginger helps blood circulation,  as well as muscle relaxation and proper digestion which helps lower high blood pressure.
