Luis-Leon Sanchez will have to remember Stage 9 of the 2010 Tour de France as a day he almost won.  He was narrowly out-sprinted by Francaise des Jeux team rider Sandy Casar.  Both riders get the same time recorded for the ride, but only Casar gets the bragging rights.The Stage ended in Jean De Maurienne, France.  The route took riders on a 204km ride through mountainous terrain in the Alps.
