With the move to re-sign Luke McCown, it appears that Jeff Garcia is possibly on his way out as QB for the Bucs. Today’s St.Pete Times has a report on Garcia not coming back in 09:
The move means the Bucs might not be interested in re-signing Jeff Garcia, who will be 39 and is set to become a free agent. Brian Griese and rookie Josh Johnson are the only other quarterbacks under contract. Griese is scheduled to earn $1.8 million next season and has a $300,000 roster bonus.

Today’s edition of The Tennessean is reporting that Titans quarterbacks coach Craig Johnson has been granted permission to interview for the offensive coordinator’s job with the Buccaneers.
Johnson just finished his ninth season with the Titans, his seventh as quarterbacks coach. The Buccaneers are looking for an offensive coordinator after hiring new head coach Raheem Morris last week to replace Jon Gruden, who was fired.
