It was first broadcast on October 14, 1995. The one-hour show airs Saturday nights on Fox and is in syndication on Comedy Central. It was created by Fax Bahr and Adam Small, who wrote for In Living Color and are also responsible for Gary and Mike and Blue Collar TV, and is produced by Quincy Jones.

I was never much of a fan of MADtv. I was in high school when the series first premiered and by then, Id already developed a taste for Saturday Night Live. At the time, SNL was at an all time high so I had no reason to switch to MADtv and never felt the urge to watch it since then.
