MMA PW is by no means, to be taken as a serious and objective reporting of MMA/pro wrestling shows; this is simply your alternative MMA/pro wrestling news and opinion Wikizine. If you want play-by-play, either read Dave Meltzer, or watch the show yourself. My reviews are simply my thoughts on a show: I comment and mock and nitpick the show in a hilarious manner, for cheap laughs, for serious criticisms, and for anger management therapy.

From Rosemont, Illinois. Original airdate: 5/17/09 Umaga d. CM Punk, Samoan Spike -- pin (***1/2). So why is Umaga battling Pepsiman anyway? Anyways, hometown rule applies here as Punk does the job, though it was a really good opener otherwise with lots of nifty spots like G2S countered into a Samoan drop. I don't understand WWE's obsession having their talent ALWAYS lose in their hometown, unless you're Jim Ross, then you're embarassed on a grand scale. ECW champion Christian d. Jack Swagger, handful of tights -- pin (***1/2). I really enjoyed this match and loved when Christian jumped down from the top rope over ... Read Full Story

I discovered this one thanks to good old YouTube. The true cause of Hulk and Linda’s breakup. After Booker says the N word, watch Sherri. Her face is classic. @1:45 “Big Daddy Cool came here to do one thing, and that’s regai– uh– HOLD ONTO THIS BELT!” Related Posts No Related Posts This entry was posted on Monday, June 1st, 2009 at 6:22 pm and is filed under Videos . The Finale had good action and good drama. The first episode was better than the second as the second had like 40 minutes of exposition White House 90210 drama. I liked Tony’s motivations. The Tony thing had dragged down the last 4 weeks or so because it didn’t really make a ton of sense what he was doing. Great scene between him and the bad guy. Tony is COOOOLD blooded. I also thought the Jill Bauer ending was handled correctly. We don’t need to see what happens when she finally snaps and tortures the guy… just that she did finally snap. Also, loved how ... Dexter is a really good show, even if they did deviate a lot from the novels (which are also good and I recommend reading). I hated that crazy bitch in Season 2 and the ending of S3 was very bad: Miguel dying in the episode before the last was not a good way to do things. The season felt like it ended with a thud rather than with a bang. Miguel was awesome as the show finally got an actor that could hold his own with Michael C. Hall. Every scene featuring the two was electric. It’s something House could desperately use at this ... Read Full Story

Just a random nWo moment that always stuck with me. Discuss, enjoy, no sell; it’s your call. “People are standing around and doing absolutely nothing!!” You sure are Gene. God Okerlund was stupid when this sort of stuff happened. He goes on about how appalling something is, but he’s RIGHT THERE and doesn’t even try to help. WWE Hell in a Cell 2009 DVD Review WWE Home Video Released: November 2009 The Hell in a Cell match is arguably the most popular style of match that WWE has to offer, and they took advantage of that this year by centering a PPV around that very match. Well internet wrestling fans, we have been asking for it for years and now it has happened.  Finally the WWE is pushing a new young talent into the main event picture.  And that person is none other than Irish Bruiser Sheamus.  The question I have is, is it too early? Sheamus debuted with WWE on June 30th with the ECW brand.  Since his first appearance he has impressed with his dominating style and natural heel persona.  His record remains...

If the day comes when Jim Leavitt doesn't want to coach the USF Bulls, he'd fit in so very nicely at the WWE. You think Hulk Hogan's a great bleeder? You think Ric Flair's face is a crimson mask? They've got nothing on Jimmy Leavitt. With his team leading lowly Louisville 17-16 at halftime last Saturday and the players seemingly in need of motivation, Leavitt did what only Leavitt does. He threw himself into the helmeted head of walk-on...

Even if you’ve avoided the Smackdown Vs. Raw games for the past few years, this year’s version is reason enough to come back to the fold. Like hardcore Madden-ites, only the most discerning WWE fans tend to notice the additions and subtractions in each iteration. Not so this year: Everything in WWE Smackdown Vs. Raw 2010, from the opening live-action introduction to the easy-to-navigate menus to the pause screen, is rendered with tremendous...
