As in all RPGs, players assume the role of a fictional character and take control over many of that character's actions. MMORPGs are distinguished from single-player or small multi-player RPGs by the number of players, and by the game's persistent world, usually hosted by the game's publisher, which continues to exist and evolve while the player is away from the game.
Aika is a free-to-play massively multiplayer online role playing game. In its fantasy world, the demon-like Zerecas have corrupted and enslaved the monsters and creatures in the land in their plan to rid the world of all Humans. The goddess Aika created the fairy-like Prans to ally with the Humans against the Zereca.

Warhammer Online developer Mythic Entertainment has introduced an unlimited free trial for its fantasy MMORPG to replace the previous ten-day trial introduced in March.
Characters on trial accounts will be restricted by a level cap of ten and confined to two 'Empire vs. Chaos' zones--Nordland and Norsca--plus three instanced PvP scenarios and one dungeon, though they can of course play them for as long as they please.
