On a cold, blustery evening at Giants Stadium, the Carolina Panthers fell to the New York Giants, 34-28, in overtime. The Panthers put up a valiant effort, but they just could not stop New York’s vaunted running game, especially without mauler Ma’ake Kemoeatu to clog up the middle.

It’s a 50-50 propostion whether Cardinals receiver Anquan Boldin will play on Saturday night in Charlotte, and so he technically is listed as 50-50 for the game.
In the language of the NFL injury reports, he’s questionable.
That said, Boldin (hamstring) was able to practice on Friday, on a limited basis.

A day before the Panthers prepare to storm the Meadowlands for the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoff field, they’ve placed a 14-game starter on injured reserve.
Gone for the year is right guard Keydrick Vincent, who joined the Panthers prior to the 2008 campaign.
Vincent had been listed as out with a groin injury.
Per the Rock Hill Herald, he is expected to be replaced by Jeremy Bridges, who was arrested less than two weeks ago.
