Macaulay Culkin 's sister Dakota Culkin has passed away after she stepped off a curb in West L.A. and was struck by a car. The driver, who police say wasn't drinking or speeding, stopped to try to help the 29-year-old, and there is no active criminal investigation. Dakota Culkin , sister of actor Macaulay Culkin was hit by a car at 11:00 p.m. Tuesday in LA and has died of a massive head trauma. According to LAPD spokesman Richard French, Dakota stepped off the curb and was soon struck by a passing car. She was then immidietly transferred to UCLA Medical Center but there was no hope, trauma was quite extensive. She died the following day.

Macaulay Culkin's sister Dakota Culkin has passed away. She was 29 years old.
Dakota evidently stepped off the curb onto a busy Los Angeles street and was hit by a car. The driver evidently tried to stop and help Culkin, and police say there is no reason to suspect foul play. Dakota was taken to the hospital with massive head injuries and died today.
