After a video was released of former “In The House” costar Maia Campbell behaving irrationally with incoherent banter, the blogosphere unleashed a hailstorm of criticism and ridicule about the young actress acting out. However, Campbell has suffered for some time with bipolar disease, and her family, including her late mother, award-winning author Bebe Moore Campbell, have always loved and supported her. 2009-09-08  at 10:53 AM In recent news, actress Maia Campbell was caught on camera once again. She was shown ranting and somewhat hyper. The first video surfaced in 2007 of her singing topless supposedly for crack. Photos of a nude Campbell also surfaced around the same time. Her mother Bebe Moore Campbell, a famed author died of complications due to brain cancer in 2006....two days AFTER Maia's birthday. It is speculated that the novel 72 Hour Hold  was written about Maia. However Moore-Campbell never went into detail about which  of her family members was suffering from a mental illness.
