Starting for the RiverDogs was Wilkins De La Rosa and he pitched a great game pitching 6 scoreless innings giving up 2 hits along with 9 strikeouts for the win. Replacing De La Rosa to start the 7th inning was Jesse Hoover and he pitched a scoreless inning. Following Hoover to start the 8th inning was Chace Vacek and he pitched a scoreless 8th inning then god came in, Jonathan Ortiz. Ortiz pitched a scoreless 9th inning for his 22nd save.
The hitting stars of the game for the RiverDogs worth mentioning were catcher Jesus Montero and left-fielder David Williams. Montero went 1 for 3 with 1 run scored and 1 rbi along with a really bad Chris Berman baaaack baaaack baaack baaack Love I get so lost, sometimes days pass and this emptiness fills my heart like a In Your Eyes by Peter Gabriel type of home, run, SMASHEROOONI!
