What Squidoo can do for you!

If you haven’t tried Squidoo yet…you Really need to! I had tried it a few years ago, but apparently (as a newbie), failed to recognize the tremendous opportunity this site offers.
If you’re not familiar with Squidoo, let me give you a (really) brief overview. Ok, to put it simply, it’s basically a single blog post or article placed on it’s own page with it’s own URL. But there’s a lot more to it and we’ll get into that in a minute.
For those of you that are familiar with HubPages, Squidoo may sound very similiar to a Hub, and yes, in a sense, it is. But it’s the differences that make Squidoo more advantageous…to an internet marketer anyway.
The basic idea is you add your article to your page, which is called a Lens in the Squidoo world, and build on that. And what I mean by that is you can add additional elements directly to your page, such as a link to your site, your Del.icio.us bookmarks, RSS feed for your site and so much more.
And just like a Hub, you can monetize your Lens to generate earnings, which is paid through the Squidoo revenue sharing program using AdSense, eBay, Amazon and more. Aside from the earnings, a Squidoo Lens can provide you withan awesome way to increase your traffic and SEO!
The best of ALL worlds! Few sites can offer that type of opportunity.
On top of that, the whole process if very simple. They actually walk you through the process of building your Lens, making this easy for anyone to do.
Getting started is easy, simply create your free account at Squidoo and jump right in. That’s the easiest way to get started. Don’t worry if it’s not perfect the first time, you can always come back and make changes later!
