John Smoltz was back in the Atlanta Braves' clubhouse Monday, visiting his old team before heading off for a round of golf with Tiger Woods. Smoltz signed with the Boston Red Sox in January, ending his 20-year tenure with the Braves. The right-hander is targeting a June return to the mound after shoulder surgery. Slumping second baseman Kelly Johnson was held out of the Atlanta Braves' starting lineup for the second straight day. Braves manager Bobby Cox gave Omar Infante his second straight start for Johnson, who is hitting .203, in Wednesday night's game against St. Louis. Infante had a hit, a walk and a run scored in the Braves' 2-1 win over the Cardinals on Tuesday night. Infante hit leadoff again on Wednesday night. Cox said Johnson would be back in the lineup soon. Legendary baseball announcer Skip Caray has died. He was 68 years old. Caray was the voice of the Atlanta braves for 33 years and the son of another baseball broadcasting legend, Harry Caray.
