Manchester United to Win On Penalties.

I have always had a feeling that Manchester United would win the Champions League and I will feel sorry for Chelsea as they are one hell of a side and deserve a trophy for their efforts this season. Anyways the betting is close as Manchester United are 6/4, Chelsea are 2/1 which is a damn cracking price and the draw is 15/8.

I think it will be 1-1 or 2-2 after the 90 minutes with odds of 5/1 for the 1-1 and 16/1 for the 2-2. For some reason I fancy it to go to extra time and penalties but so do the miserable bookies who are only offering odds of about 8/1 for that whereas the proper odds for that should be about 25/1.

If we look at what player will score the 1st Goal we have Ronaldo at 5/1, Rooney at 7/1, Tevez at 8/1, Drogba at 13/2, Anelka at 8/1, Lampbard at 8/1 and Ballack at 10/1. I tell you what, if you had backed Ronaldo to score the 1st Goal all season you would be worth a fortune but we will leave him out for this match. I fancy either Rooney at 7/1 or Ballack at 10/1 to score that all important 1st Goal.

So my tips for the big Champions League Final based on my soccer statistics are correct score 1-1 or 2-2 at odds of 5/1 and 16/1. Manchester United to win on penalties at 8/1 and Rooney or Ballack to score the 1st Goal at odds of 7/1 and 10/1.

I noticed some bookies are doing betting on who Man of the Match will be and one player caught my eye at a cracking price of 66/1. He has been outstanding for Manchester Utd all season and this match is one were he will be involved in the action for sure. That player is Wes Brown and if Utd win the Champions League and Wes Brown closes out the Chelsea forwards then at 66/1 he may just be Man of the Match.
