Should parents support mandatory HPV vaccinations using Gardasil? The drug has proven to be effective at preventing cervical cancer if administered before girls become sexual active. But many parents fear the message that an early vaccination may give to young girls. What's your take?

The FDA has expanded its approval of Merck & Co. Inc.'s quadrivalent human papillomavirus, or HPV, vaccine, which is marketed as Gardasil, to include use of the vaccine to prevent genital warts in boys and men ages 9-26 years.
