25,000+ runners enjoyed themselves last weekend in Miami at the ING Miami Marathon. A few were friends of Reggae Marathon and they stopped by the Reggae Marathon booth at the Race Expo to say hi.
Some new friends included the 4 members of Black Girls Run who posed for us (in the photo above). These are “super positive” role model runners who were recently featured in Runners’ World Magazine and are talking about coming to Reggae Marathon 2012.

I love parties with people having a good time. And the Reggae Marathon Pasta Party was a great time last December. With nearly perfect weather for an outdoor party, the steel band music provided the perfect backdrop. And let’s not forget the food! FIRST-time marathon runner Jim Humble has won a place to run in the 2012 Mumbai Marathon with free flights to India, through development charity Sightsavers. Jim, aged 53, who lives in Whitley Bay in Tyne and Wear but works for Stannah, began running in January 2011 and flew to India to run his first ever marathon on behalf of Sightsavers on Sunday.
