Nijinsky Hind by Tyrannosaurus Rex - Acoustic Cover Version
This wonderful old Tyrannosaurus Rex song goes out by request to my good friend Tony, from "across the pond!" Hope you like it. The guitar is tuned down 1/2 step, so when I play in the key of G, it sounds in the key of G flat.Yet another wonderful bit of Marc Bolan, Steve Took wimsey!

A community portal about Marc Bolan with blogs, videos, and photos. According to Wikipedia.org: Mark Feld, better known as Marc Bolan, was a British-born singer, songwriter and guitarist. After cutting several solo singles and a brief stint with the John's Children, in 1967 Bolan formed Tyrannosaurus Rex. He died accidentally on September 16, 1977 in Barnes, London, when the car driven by his companion Gloria Jones went out of control. One of the original bands of the ‘underground’ scene, and mentored by John Peel, Tyrannosaurus Rex began as an acoustic duo performing simple melodic songs using surreal lyrics, rich with references to fantasy and mythology, but also history and modern society. By 1970 Marc increasingly experimented with electronic elements in his music, giving it a much'rockier' feel. By the time he purchased a vintage Gibson Les Paul guitar the musical direction was set.
