Standing in at 6’6” and 275 lbs. Marcedes Lewis is not going to be intimidated by many people in the NFL. Using his great size and athleticism Marcedes has finally emerged as a force at the tight end position. This talent and potential is why the Jaguars selected him at number 28 in the 2006 NFL Draft. According to The Florida Times-union,  Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Marcedes Lewis might decide to hold out from training camp in hopes of getting a new contract.  Lewis signed the franchise tag that was placed on him by the Jaguars back in February.  But he may decide that the tender isn’t enough and petition for a new deal now.
