A place to follow and predict March Madness upsets. The NCAA men's basketball tourney is filled with drama and smack talk for a reason...

Out of nowhere, a screw up, miracle shot, injury, or just plain bad joo-joo can rock the brackets wide open.

Got a prediction for 2008? Afraid that Oral Roberts and Portland State are already out of the running for miracle upsets, but we'll still get at least a few surprises along the way.

Tampa gave us some major March Madness upsets in the first round. Can these 12 and higher seeds continue? How far will Davidson go?

March Madness upsets, and the athletes who make it happen

March Madness captivates people with it's buzzer-beating upsets, but beyond the upsets, there is something fascinating about watching and reading about individual players.  These guys are college kids, most of whom will never play in the NBA.  This is their one moment to shine on national TV.  Their one moment to make that incredible 26 foot shot with less than a second left in the game.  Their one moment to take a 12 seed to the Sweet 16Sure, Stephen Curry had a great year before the... Finally! Some March Madness Upsets

Applause to the West!  There were two major upset victories today. San Diego rocked UConn smack out of the tournament.  That's a 13 seed defeating a 4 seed.  Nice work SD! West Kentucky put the hurt on Drake in the final few seconds of the game.  A near miracle play won it...with only 5 seconds to play, they inbounded the ball, ran full court, and popped in a beautiful outside shot for the huge upset victory. West Kentucky gets the "W"...a 12 seed defeating a 5 seed. What's this mean in... Read Full Story

Dearth of March Madness Upsets on Day One

Day 1 was disappointing to those of us who enjoy major upsets. Duke gave us a nail biting ending, but ultimately won, which sorta stunk. It would have been a lot more fun to see a #15 rank beat out a #2 on day one. At least Texas A&M pulled off an upset against BYU, but really that wasn't a big surprise. So...while it would be fun to see UMBC beat Georgetown I don't really think we're gonna see it! Here's my current best hopes for round 1 upsets: St Joes can sometimes surprise...let's... The March Madness Upset Upset

Stephen Curry #30 of the Davidson Wildcats fights to control a rebound against Darrell Arthur #00 of the Kansas Jayhawks during the Midwest Regional Final of the 2008 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament at Ford Field on March 30, 2008 in Detroit, Michigan
Davidson was the school to watch in this year's March Madness.  They handled opponents with ease, seemed confident in their status as the favored underdog, and had a hero in Stephen Curry.  Unfortunately their string of upsets came to an end this weekend. Personllay, I was hoping for more magic...and we were only 2 points shy... maybe next year! Stephen Curry #30 of the Davidson Wildcats fights to control a rebound against Darrell Arthur #00 of the Kansas Jayhawks during the... Read Full Story

Davidson with another March Madness upset!

Stephen Curry is a magical man in this NCAA tourney. He hit 33 points last night and led Davidson to it's third major March Madness upset over Wisconsin. That's a 10 seed over a 3 seed, for those of you who think of these games according to bracket numbers. Just how far can Davidson go?  With this much momentum, who knows...
