Margot Kidder, Dressing As Sane Person For Halloween
Film icon Margot Kidder has just joined the cast of Rob Zombie's "Halloween 2," playing the psychologist who tries to talk Laurie Strode off the ledge. Can we address for one moment how amazing it is to have bats*** crazy Margot Kidder playing a psychologist? That is some least-qualified casting that I can really get behind. It's like when Jennifer Lopez played a maid. Loves it.
For those who are wondering why I used this photo from "Superman II," the answer is simple -- this moment has always been a favorite of mine. I simply love that no one involved with my favorite Superman movie felt it was ridiculous to assume Supes would stock his Fortress of Solitude with plates and serving dishes. You know, because it is so often he hosts dinner parties in the middle of the Arctic.
The scene makes no sense whatsoever, which is the theme of this story.
