Rob Zombie has revealed on his MySpace page that he has added another cast members to his next horror project, H2 . Margot Kidder ( Amityville Horror , Superman , Black Christmas ) has joined the cast and will play Laurie Strode’s therapist Barbara Collier. The writer-director also made an announcement that the full title for the film is now H2: The Devil Walks Among Us , but he removed that part from his blog. It is nice to see Margot getting back into the mix of things I last saw her in an episode of Smallville as Bridget Crosby, the assistant to Christopher ... Read Full Story

Film icon Margot Kidder has just joined the cast of Rob Zombie's "Halloween 2," playing the psychologist who tries to talk Laurie Strode off the ledge. Can we address for one moment how amazing it is to have bats*** crazy Margot Kidder playing a psychologist? That is some least-qualified casting that I can really get behind. It's like when Jennifer Lopez played a maid. Loves it. For those who are wondering why I used this photo from "Superman II," the answer is simple -- this moment has always been a favorite of mine. I simply love that no one involved with my favorite Superman ... Read Full Story

Rob Zombie has made another H2 a nnouncement . "Margot Kidder has joined Halloween - The Devil Walks Among Us as Laurie Strode's therapist Barbara Collier," says Zombie on his official blog. Kidder is best known probably as Lois Lane from the original Superman movies but also has done some quality work in horror. She appeared in both Black Christmas and The Amityville Horror. You'll also notice the name of the movie seems to have changed. Zombie, no longer calling it H2, refers to it as Halloween - The Devil Walks Among Us. Good. H2 is a shitty name and way to close to ... Read Full Story

You gotta get this one! "On the Other Hand, Death: A Donald Strachey Mystery" will be released on DVD Feb. 24. It's the third installment in the franchise starring Chad Allen as the gay private investigator. This installment co-stars the great Margot Kidder in one of her meatiest roles in recent years. She knocks it out of the park in this one as a lesbian who, along with her longtime partner, is being harrassed and pressured to move from their farmhouse by an unknowned person or persons. After speaking with their neighbors, Donald discovers that the couple rejected a developer's over-priced bid for their ... Read Full Story

I finally received my last two Lois Lane autographs in the mail. I've been collecting signed pictures of all the actresses who have played the character so that I can pass them down to my own little Lois. Both Margot Kidder and Erica Durance complete my collection. Check 'em out: I'm really happy with these and the Margot Kidder picture is huge! Now, I'm thinking about collecting autographs of the actresses who voiced the character in various cartoons, particularly Dana Delany ("Superman: The Animated Series"). Maybe I will, maybe I won't. Until then, I'll consider the collection complete. Read Full Story

Alexa from Pop Elegantiarum here to share some creepy film craftiness for Halloween Week. One of my favorite Halloween memories is a sleepover I had with some friends in middle school. A bunch of us girls bundled up after a night of trick-or-treating to watch Brian De Palma's masterpiece of horror, Sisters, starring Margot Kidder as a set of loony French-Canadian Siamese twins. This was Brian De Palma's first foray into Hitchcock homage...
