Maria Sharapova (born 19 April 1987) is a professional tennis player of Russian descent. She was once ranked #1 in the world and a threat to win any tournament she enters. Maria Sharapova is a two-time major champion with wins at Wimbledon (2004) and the US Open (2006). She is a three-time Grand Slam singles champion. Thanks to a tweet by James Larosa (and the stalkeratti) the rumored budding romance between Maria Sharapova + the LA Lakers Sasha Vujacic is def AWN - well, as much as a photo of two happy looking people strolling down a sidewalk holding hands can say.
