Mark Harmon is an American actor best known for his role as Leroy Jethro Gibbs in the CBS television series NCIS. Mark Harmon has also appeared in the films Freaky Friday and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Harmon has been married to actress Pam Dawber since 21 March 1987. The couple have two sons: Sean Thomas Harmon (born 25 April 1988) and Tyrone Christian Harmon (born 25 June 1992).Harmon was the brother-in-law of the late Ricky Nelson and is the uncle of singers Matthew and Gunnar Nelson of the pop duo Nelson, actress Tracy Nelson, and EMI executive Sam Nelson. Harmon dated singer Karen Carpenter in the seventies.

My wife and I are great fans of NCIS and we’re rather disappointed by its spin-off, NCIS: Los Angeles. We find it bland and uninteresting. It needs better writing, better direction, and better acting.
