Apparently Jason Statham will once again be pushing the limits of physical abuse as the one and only Chev Chelios in Crank 3 . Writer/director Mark Neveldine seems to have confirmed that the third installment of his franchise is indeed happening, he also discusses how they’ll deal with bringing back Statham’s Chelios who seemed to die (again) at the end of Crank: High Voltage .
In a recent interview with Empire, Neveldine was very forthcoming about the prospects of adding to the...Read Full Story

After I was surprised that enjoyed the batshit crazy movie Crank by directors Neveldine/Taylor, here comes the WTF sequel to the film, Crank: High Voltage . I didn’t see this movie in the theaters because of the bad buzz surrounding it. It tried to top everything that happened in the first movie that nobody could enjoy it.
If you haven’t seen the first movie, I will spoil the ending to that movie to introduce this movie. Be warned.

Gerard Butler’s latest, “Gamer” is essentially a rehash of the Arnold Schwarzenegger 1987 sci-fi actioner “The Running Man”, minus the groan-inducing quips and overall sense of cheesy fun. Sure, Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor have more to work with, including a more expressive leading man in Gerard Butler (though he doesn’t necessarily show it off here), better CG-assisted mayhem, and of course, more advanced squib effects to wow the audience with.
Unfortunately the 2009 edition doesn’t...Read Full Story
There is no doubt when watching a movie directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, that it was made by anybody else. The pair made their name with kinetic and electric "Crank" films, and recently graduated to comic tenptoles, helming the upcoming "Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance." Known for their unorthodox methods -- which includes strapping on roller blades, and grabbing a camera so they can get right into the action -- the film they make...

Taking place years after the earlier Ghost Rider movie, Blaze is now riding...

While talking to British movie magazine Empire, Mark Neveldine, one half of the Neveldine/Taylor directorial partnership behind the two "Crank" movies, has let slip some information that will allow us to all sleep a little more peacefully tonight. Yes, by god, they want to make a "Crank 3." And what's more -- it might co-star one of their "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance" principles. Hallelujah. While talking with the magazine about...
