DreamWorks Animation announced that Pandamonium will be back in 2011 when the sequel to its worldwide hit, " Kung Fu Panda ," is expected to return to theaters on June 3, 2011. The Company also anticipates releasing the film into IMAX(R) theatres worldwide. Action, adventure, comedy and Kung Fu - what more could a Dad want in a movie? I took my daughter Chani to see the movie Kung Fu Panda today, and I’ve got to say it was one of the best kid movies I’ve seen in a long time. It’s a classic good versus evil tale, with a slighted pupil gone bad up against an unlikely hero. The interesting thing to me, though, was the plot being as much about the battle of self-doubt within, as it was about the battle against evil in the world.

"Kung Fu Panda" has swept awards at the annual Annie Awards Friday, taking 11 prizes at the celebrated animation award-giving body. The Dream Works Animation film took home the top prize, Best Animated Feature, as well as the Best Animated Effects. DreamWorks Animation SKG has announced plans for a sequel to "Kung Fu Panda" to be released in 2011.
The movie, like all DreamWorks Animation films starting in 2009, will be produced with 3-D technology, the company said in a statement Wednesday.
Jack Black will return to provide the voice of Po, a panda in ancient China who becomes an unlikely martial-arts hero. Angelina Jolie is also slated to return as the voice of Tigress.
