Darryl Tapp is looking forward to a fresh start. Two days after joining the Philadelphia Eagles in a trade, Tapp signed a three-year contract on Thursday. The 25-year-old Tapp will compete for a starting spot at left defensive end after playing four seasons in Seattle. "I think a change of scenery will be good," Tapp said.  

The Philadelphia Eagles have signed free agent running back Mike Bell to an offer sheet. The Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints have seven days to match the contract offer. They wouldn't receive compensation for letting Bell go. Bell had 654 yards rushing and five touchdowns last season. He averaged 3.8 yards per carry.  

Looking to bolster their pass rush, the Philadelphia Eagles acquired defensive end Darryl Tapp from Seattle on Tuesday. The Seahawks got defensive end Chris Clemons and the Eagles' fourth-round choice in next month's draft. Originally a second-round draft pick by Seattle in 2006, Tapp has 18 sacks, two interceptions, eight forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries in 65 games.  

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have acquired wide receiver Reggie Brown from the Philadelphia Eagles for a sixth-round pick in the 2011 draft. The deal was announced by both teams Monday, the fourth day of free agency. The 29-year-old Brown has 177 career receptions and 17 touchdowns. Brown was selected third in the second round of the 2005 draft after playing four years at the University of Georgia.  

Marlin Jackson's surgically repaired knees didn't scare off the Philadelphia Eagles. Still looking to replace Brian Dawkins, the Eagles are taking a chance on Jackson. It is the perception of some that the door to a SB has been shut for the Eagles. This sounds exactly like several years back after the loss to the Pats.
