Thoughts Become Things

Thoughts are things. They are not airy dreams. They are not intangible.

Thoughts are real. When you think a thought you have thought about something in its incipient form.

Thoughts are lawful. The moment you think something the creative process begins.

This doesn’t mean that all thoughts manifest. Many thoughts don’t. There are other factors as well as a time buffer between when you originate a thought and its manifestation.

How Are Thoughts Lawful?

We have been given control over our thoughts and feelings so that we may mold our destiny. This is a divine blessing.

We are co-creators. We choose thoughts which generate feelings. These feelings attract whatever is necessary to aid in the manifestation of the picture which we predominantly hold in our mind.

We give God something to work with by forming a mental picture. Our feelings are an attractive or repelling force which tells God what we want or don’t want. He handles the rest.

This is a lawful process.

This process is miraculous but also natural. It is amazing but also normal. We initiate the process every moment that we are alive.

The sum total of our thought impressions causes the creative process to move in a definite direction.

Let’s say that you want a promotion at work. You may build a mental picture of this promotion by playing a movie in your mind. You may think about it a few times a day for about a week, and then forget about it. During the same time frame you may dwell on how the promotion is not going to occur. Doubt, fear, and worry fill you mind.

You may have built a detailed mental picture but instead of attracting it with positive emotions you have repelled it with negative emotions. God figures you must not want it, so you won’t get it.

In addition you’ve only thought about it a few times a day for a week. This is a weak desire. It’s like asking God for something is a hushed tone. He only hears clear and definite desires. Clear and definite desires are transmitted to God through the frequency of their impressions on His Mind.

Give yourself at least 3-4 five minute sessions a day to build your mental picture in detail. The mental picture is lawful. Believe this and the manifestation of your picture will be as certain as the change of seasons. The same Force creates each.

Believe that the mental picture is real. It is tangible. Touch your vision. Taste it. Smell it. Practice using the senses in your mind’s eye.

Do you doubt if the sun will rise? God creates your picture just as He created everything around you. Believe in lawful thought. It will create miracles for you.
