Overview
Maroon is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California. The four original band members met as students at the Brentwood School, forming the band Kara's Flowers. After guitarist James Valentine joined the band some years later after a hiatus, they became Maroon 5. In 2002, they released their debut album 'Songs About Jane.'
