Marshall Faulk Will Not Be Part Of Rams Bidding Group
Marshall Faulk, former St. Louis Rams running back, was rumored to be part of a group bidding to buy the football team this year, but sources said today that this is not the case. The report of Faulk's interest in the purchase came from ESPN.com, and claimed that the record-holding player would join Blues owner Dave Checketts in the bid since Rush Limbaugh was no longer part of the group.

It was announced that Limbaugh was out earlier this week, as some players and owners complained about the idea of the conservative talk radio host having a stake in an NFL team.
Faulk retired from the NFL in 2007, and led the Rams to 2 Super Bowls during his time on the team. He's currently an analyst on the NFL Network's NFL Total Access show.
