Veteran WR Marty Booker was released yesterday by the Bears. Booker, signed a two-year deal last off-season, to start his second stint with the Bears. Last season, Booker caught only 14 passes for 211 yards and 2 touchdowns. Booker played in 13 games with five starts while struggling to stay healthy. From: Chicago Sun-Times Marty Booker struggled pulling his clothes on in the locker room after the game Sunday, and his worst fears have been realized by X-rays. A source close to the player revealed that Booker suffered a cracked rib when he was tackled by Jacksonville cornerback Brian Williams and linebacker Clint Ingram.
