Veteran WR Marty Booker was released yesterday by the Bears. Booker, signed a two-year deal last off-season, to start his second stint with the Bears. Last season, Booker caught only 14 passes for 211 yards and 2 touchdowns. Booker played in 13 games with five starts while struggling to stay healthy. Wide receiver Marty Booker, who signed with the Falcons on Thursday, reported for his first practice. “I’m just trying to get in and play catch-up,” Booker said.
