A Philadelphia man shot with a gun owned by Colts receiver Marvin Harrison is headed to trial Wednesday, accused of lying to police. Dwight Dixon is scheduled to appear in a Philadelphia municipal court on a charge of making false sworn statements. Colts wide receiver Marvin Harrison, currently being investigated in an alleged shooting outside his Philadelphia bar, may be in more trouble than he originally anticipated. Six bullet casings, found at the scene of the April 29 shooting, outside Harrison’s bar Playmakers, have been matched to a gun registered under the football player. Sports Illustrated’s Peter King is reporting that former Colts wide receiver Marvin Harrison is planning on retiring.
King mentions that Harrison’s injured knee and his inability to get it healthy is the reason.
