November 1, 2008 I have voted in presidential elections since the 1970s, but I do not remember an election like this one. This election has people who have sat on the sidelines getting involved. People who have never voted have registered to vote. I have never witnessed such excitement, especially from young people who are engaged in the election process. A Students for Obama Club at our high school of 4,400 students is on fire. Students, some who are too young to vote, have sponsored voter registrations.
