Hopefully, this would be implemented in a manner that provides Facebook members to set controls that determine the level of sharing of relationship connections, including sharing of one's social graph externally not just to FB apps. It's not just Facebook...  

This past week 15 new mashups were add to our mashup directory and 20 different APIs were used to build them. Some of the newer or less frequently seen APIs include GamePro, Goodreads, and Maponics. The most often used APIs this week are Google App Engine, Google Maps, and Twitter. Shopping (4 APIs, 4 mashups), Mapping (3 APIs, 9 mashups), and Search (3 APIs, 3 mashups). The list below shows which APIs were used by which mashups:  

Simpler APIs can be used from JavaScript in a web page or take specially formated XML file as input (as shown here at Engadget). While this is indeed simple, security issues limit JavaScript's suitability for true client-only mashups. ...  

I really like mashups that juxtapose hip-hop/R&B/reggae with classic rock/radio pop. Some good examples are Girl Talk's music, this Biggie Smalls/Miley Cyrus mashup, and this Beatles/Black Eyed Peas/Ludacris/ etc mashup. What are the best executed and most fun ones you've heard?
