MMORPG | MMORPG Birth of Massive Network

Coined as the massively multiplayer role playing game or the MMORPG , the word “massive” is no doubt an evolution in online gaming by binding characters in different servers in one game worldwide. Since the past years, MMORPG has appeared in the online industry which turned interactive enough through the virtual sky games such as Air Warrior. The massive element then gave birth to 100 pilots to take flight, leading to its further development called the Meridian 59 multiplayer game. This point hasn’t reached the widespread era on games yet, but until EverQuest came in the market, it turned clear that MMORPGs will be able to stay. 

Taking into consideration MMORPG ’s common characteristic, the massive element is used to allow large numbers of people to play around same virtual world. The enjoyment of play revolves on battles with monsters for easy level-up as well as user combats, trading and making friends. Moreover, the multiplicity of people in MMORPG is neither limited nor excessive to ensure the quality of the game because even though there are Battlefield2 and Pac-man themselves which are played by many, they still do not make it like multiplayer games.

In fact, what makes MMORPG more interesting is that they can congregate in-game events into single zone, making it the most awaited moment for high level players. However, gaining much power against other strong characters can also risk the MMORPG system through lag escalation. Due to large numbers of information gathered from players, sending messages to the same environment can drop connections. As according to MMORPG developers, this part of the game is normal yet it’s all a matter of time to take care of the system.
